When Josh became a father, he discovered he was sometimes questioned as a parent. It’s 2017, haven’t we come further? Here are Joshua’s thoughts on becoming a dad.

“We took nine pregnancy tests. And then another one, just to make sure. I was over the moon. I grew up in a big family and I’ve always wanted to have kids.”

Pierre’s story: “I’ve never felt so inadequate”

Becoming a father is actually a big thing. But no-one asked me how I felt. The midwife only talked to my wife. Hello, I’m here too.”

I even googled ‘how to be a dad’.

“I even googled ‘how to be a dad’. Where were all the other ordinary dads? So, I decided to pick up my camera and start my own vlog. I wanted other dads to talk to and share experiences on day-to-day life with.”

Her birth is the most amazing thing ever. I was given this tiny little human to hold. Those first 20 minutes of her life, when it was only me and her, will remain with me forever. She was fully relying on me and somehow I knew I had it within me. I had no choice but to be a good dad.”
