BABYBJÖRN celebrates its 50th anniversary this year – and to celebrate this milestone we turned to our roots. The result was the creation of BABYBJÖRN Retro Line. BABYBJÖRN Baby Carrier Original, is one of the favorites we have chosen to fashion in three different fabrics from the ’60s and ’70s.

The blue and orange/brown baby carriers and bouncers which are part of the BABYBJÖRN Retro Line have a pattern positioning that gives each baby carrier a unique look. The retro collection is a limited edition line.

When we created the BABYBJÖRN Retro Line, we turned to our roots and found inspiration in our fabrics of yesteryear.

50 years of happy babies
This year marks the 50th anniversary of BABYBJÖRN, and we want to celebrate it with you! Visit our anniversary room to take a look at our retro movies and pictures and to join all our contests that will be held throughout the year.

’70s
We recreated a classic pattern in brown/orange and blue for the ’70s collection.

The baby carrier is simple to put on and take off without assistance and easily adjusted from the front. As with all our baby carriers, it was developed in collaboration with medical experts to suit newborns optimally.

Age
From newborn (at least 8 lbs and 21 in/3.5 kg and 53 cm) up to 25 lbs/11 kg.

Material
100% cotton fabric.

The textiles closest to the child have been tested and approved in accordance with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class 1 for baby products. They are guaranteed harmless to children’s sensitive skin and will not trigger allergies.

Product care
Machine wash, warm (40 °C). Wash separately with a gentle, bleach-free detergent.

Carrying positions
When the child is older and has a stronger neck, the head support may be folded down, allowing the child to be carried facing forward and to have a look around.
