BABYBJÖRN Booster Chair

The BABYBJÖRN Booster Chair is recommended for ages three and up and has been designed for children who can sit unaided.

The BABYBJÖRN Booster Chair is designed and tested for children up to six years.

1) Release the booster chair attachment system by pressing the two-stage lock (a black knob on the back of the booster chair). The attachment strap is now unlocked and you can feed it out to the required length.
2) Place the BABYBJÖRN Booster Chair on an appropriate* chair and secure the attachment system by fastening the clasp and then pressing-and-twisting the black knob to tighten the straps.
3) Make sure that the straps are properly tightened – they should not hang loose under the chair. Always check that the booster chair is firmly and securely fastened on the chair before letting a child sit on it.

The BABYBJÖRN Booster Chair attachment system keeps it securely fastened to the chair. Part of this system is the two-stage lock that prevents children, or siblings, from releasing the booster chair when it is strapped to the chair.

In addition, the non-slip straps and mini pads underneath ensure that the booster chair remains firmly positioned on the chair, and the ribbed seat surface makes the seat less slippery.

Always check that the product is firmly and securely fastened on the chair before letting a child sit on it. The straps should be retracted and the clasp fastened when the product is not in use.

The booster chair is recommended for children who are at least three years old. Children around that age do not usually need to be strapped in when sitting on ordinary chairs as they can sit unaided and are happy to do so.

Through studies of children sitting, we know that small children have a natural upright position and accordingly do not need a backrest.

This means the booster chair is easier to bring along and makes climbing up and down from the chair easier for your child. Furthermore, your child comes closer to the table as well as his or her plate.

The BABYBJÖRN Booster Chair is easy to clean – just wipe it down with a cloth using a mild cleaning agent. Do not use bleach or put it in the dishwasher.

Yes. No hazardous substances have been used in the manufacture of the BABYBJÖRN Booster Chair. This product is PVC-free and contains no bisphenol A (BPA), phthalates, cadmium, lead, bromine or chlorine. The booster chair is made in Sweden from top quality recyclable plastic: PP and TPE (the mini pads).

BABYBJÖRN Booster Chair has been designed and developed for children from the age of 3 up to the age of 6. One detail that was tested specifically during the development of the Booster Chair was how high the child is brought up when they sit on the chair. The user tests showed that children of this age sit at a good height for the table on our Booster Chair.

Our aim is to provide an easy-to-use product and this is why we’ve chosen to develop a Booster Chair with a height that suits most children aged from 3 to 6. We also wanted a product that is easy to keep clean and is portable. 

For younger children, we recommend BABYBJÖRN High Chair. It is suitable for children from approximately 6 months up to 3 years and is easy to adjust to fit your growing child. 

We offer a safe and user-friendly product that is easy to take anywhere. It has no loose parts that you can drop, lose or that can slide off. The Booster Chair is easy to keep clean and currently has no seat cushion that you need to wash.
