No, the BABYBJÖRN Comfort Carrier is not designed to be used with an infant insert or similar accessories. The BABYBJÖRN Comfort Carrier is developed and tested for babies over three months of age, at least 55cm/21inches and 6kg/13Ibs. It must not be used for newborn babies or babies weighing less than 6 kg. Please note: We strongly advise against the use of any infant inserts or other similar baby articles together with our products, since they are neither designed nor tested for this purpose.

For your newborn baby we recommend our BABYBJÖRN Baby Carriers: Original, Air, Active, or Synergy. They are developed and tested in cooperation with pediatricians (lank till läkarutlåtanden) in order to offer an ideal design for the newborn baby (minimum 3,5 kg).

Slip the bib over the head support of the Comfort Carrier and the head support straps through the holes on each side of the bib. Attach the head support.

The Bib for Baby Carrier should be washed separately in 60°C/hot. We recommend using a gentle, bleach-free detergent. Do not tumble dry. 

It is made from 80% cotton and 20% Polyester. The water repellent membrane is 100% PU.

Like the fabrics in our baby carriers, the Bib for Comfort Carrier is approved in accordance with Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class 1. This means that the fabric contains no health-hazardous substances or allergens, which makes it harmless for your child to suck and chew on the bib.
