GOTS

The fabrics used in BabyBjörn’s organic line are certified in accordance with GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), internationally the most recognized standard for the manufacture of organic textiles.

The GOTS label ensures that the fabrics meet certain environmental requirements during the production process. These requirements regulate everything from cultivation, harvesting, production, processing, manufacturing, packaging and labeling.

-    The textiles must consist of at least 95% organically grown cotton.
-    Toxic heavy metals, formaldehyde and genetically modified fibers may not be used in the manufacturing process.
-    No chemical pesticides are allowed.
-    Chlorine bleaching is prohibited.
