BabyBjörn launches organic
product line
Kind to the earth for the next generation
The Swedish family owned company BabyBjörn - known for its commitment to the safety and well-being of babies and children - launches a new line that is also mindful of the environment. The line made from organically grown cotton, features three of BabyBjörn’s most popular products.
BabyBjörn’s Organic textiles meet the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), the most recognized international organic standard. Additionally, all BabyBjörn fabrics that come into contact with baby’s skin are Class-1 Oeko-Tex certified. This rigorous certification means that they are absolutely safe and free from any substances that can harm infants.
The Baby Carrier Original Organic and the Baby Carrier Active Organic both provide the vital closeness that promotes infant-parent bonding and are designed to help parents and babies enjoy life on the move. All adjustments to BabyBjörn baby carriers are made from the front, making them easy to put on and remove without assistance.
The Baby Carrier Original can be used from newborn (minimum weight is 3.5 kilograms) up to 11 kilograms. The Baby Carrier Active can be used from newborn (minimum 3.5 kilograms) up to 13 kilograms.
In the Babysitter Balance Organic babies can create and enjoy gentle rocking movements, by using their own motion. Its design capitalizes on the calming effects of vestibular stimulation, which helps the body maintain balance and has been linked to enhanced motor skill development. Practical and easy to use, it allows parents to easily adjust between play, rest and sleep positions without disturbing baby. The Babysitter Balance is easy to fold, carry and store. It can be used to accommodate newborns starting at 3.5 kilograms as well as toddlers up to 13 kilograms.
All three products are developed in cooperation with paediatricians, parents and children - with the future generation in mind.

About GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard):
Organic cotton means that it is grown without chemical fertilizers or pesticides, from plants which are not genetically modified. The BabyBjörn products of the Organic Cotton product range comply with the GOTS Standards, which regulate the use of chemicals in the textile production process. This includes the cultivation and harvesting of the raw material, production, manufacture, packaging and labeling. Products certified according to GOTS Standard must consist of at least 95% Organic Cotton. The sign of approval has existed since 2002 and is the most recognized international certification standard for organic textiles. GOTS is a complement to Oeko-Tex, not a replacement for it.
