- The BABYBJÖRN Spoon’s short handle is easy for small hands to grip and works equally well in the right or left hand. The spoon’s blade is designed to fit the shape of the plate and makes it easy for the child to scoop food onto the spoon.

Yes, the BABYBJÖRN Plate and Spoon is dishwasher safe. However, avoid placing near the machine’s heater coil.

Yes, at low heat, maximum 90°C/194°F. Warming at low heat gives the plate a longer lifespan. We recommend only heating the food in the microwave, not actually cooking it there.

The BABYBJÖRN Spoon, and the border of BABYBJÖRN Plate, are made of PP (Polypropylene) and TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer). The inside of the plate is made of ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene).

The plastic in BABYBJÖRN Plate and Spoon is recyclable and classified as food safe in accordance both with US (FDA) and European (EEC) standards.
We do not use chemical additives such as bisphenol A, cadmium, lead, bromides, phylates or chlorine. We also do not use PVC.
